We had an excellent experience of being moved by Burke & Wills last week. We exchanged only a week before our completion date but Billie-Jane and Lauren in the office were so helpful in finding an available team to move us, and were so quick and clear in all their communication. We had the full packing service, and Alex and the team were excellent at both ends of our move. Even though we'd needed too book an extra van during the move the whole move felt reasonable and competitive compared to other quotes, and they really took the stress out of our move. If only they had an unpacking service too, as I sit surrounded by boxes! Highly recommend.
Response from the owner:Dear Christine,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with Burke & Wills.
We are delighted that Billie-Jane and Lauren were able to help organise your move at such short notice and kept everything clear and straightforward throughout. We will also be sure to pass your kind words on to Alex and the team for their excellent work at both ends of the move.
It is great to hear that, even with the additional van needed on the day, you felt the service offered good value and that we helped take the stress out of moving. We completely understand the feeling of being surrounded by boxes afterwards! An unpacking service would certainly be handy, but we hope you are settling in well and enjoying your new home.
Thank you again for your recommendation and for choosing Burke & Wills. Your feedback means a great deal to the whole team.

We received a great removals service, packing and transport very efficient. Not quite 5 stars as there was minor damage to some furniture. Customer experience would also be better if the removals team were all on the same payment structure (eg hourly vs day rate).
Response from the owner:Dear William,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We really appreciate your kind comments about the efficiency of our packing and transport service.
We are sorry to hear that there was some minor damage to your furniture. We take the care of our customers' belongings very seriously and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the payment structure for our removals teams. While this is an internal matter, we understand your point about consistency and how this could affect the customer experience, and we will take your feedback on board.
Thank you again for choosing Burke & Wills and for sharing your experience. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continue to improve our service.

Outstanding from start to finish.
Billie-Jane was polite, understanding and helpful as I bumbled my way towards my move date.
I am ashamed to say I dont remember the name of the two guys who came on the day, but they were great, they dealt with tough parking and a very busy house on move day and did it with a smile and a joke.
Absolutely would use the team again should I need to move!
Response from the owner:Dear Keith,

We are also pleased to hear that the team handled the tough parking and busy moving day with such a positive attitude. Keeping things moving while still having a smile and a joke is exactly the approach we want from our crews.

I had such a great experience with Burke & Wills and couldn’t recommend them enough. The team were absolutely amazing from start to finish — extremely professional, friendly, careful and hardworking.
I had several pieces of furniture that were incredibly heavy and difficult to move, and they carried everything upstairs without any complaints or hesitation. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were helpful throughout the entire process.

We used this company to move house across London, the actual movers and vans were from Aussie Man and Van because Burke & Wills were fully booked. The guy who packed the day before was brilliant and packed almost all our things in a few hours. This meant so much less stress for us as you do not have to think about how to pack fragile items and get boxes, tape etc. On the day of the move, all the guys were so friendly and reassuring that our things were safe with them. They put in absolute graft moving your things and you do not need lift anything whatsoever, it's really impressive. There was a small error about the address we were moving to being further than expected and they took it so well and made sure we had the right number of vans needed. Would 10/10 recommend this service to anyone, well worth the money!
Response from the owner:Dear Alexandra,
Thank you so much for your fantastic and detailed review. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with Burke & Wills.
We are delighted to hear that the packing service made such a difference and helped take away the stress of preparing fragile items, especially with the team getting almost everything packed in just a few hours.
It is also great to hear that the moving team were friendly, reassuring and worked so hard on the day. We know moving house is a big job, so our aim is to take as much of the physical work and stress away from you as possible.
We also appreciate your understanding regarding the address and are pleased that the team were able to adapt quickly and make sure the correct number of vans were provided.
Thank you again for your 10/10 recommendation and for choosing Burke & Wills. Your kind words mean a great deal to the whole team, and we hope to help you again in the future.

I couldn’t recommend B&W and their team more highly! 5* service and quality throughout!
Jason on the sales side was on time, efficient and thoroughly engaging about our move which is why we went with him/them.
Phil & Serge were a dream team packing up, being flexible to having two young kids knocking about, and getting the move started.
Jonny and Billy who came to lead the moving alongside Phil and Serge on the actual move day worked incredibly well as a team and must’ve slept like babies after all the effort and sweat they all put in on another hot day.
The comparison with the slipshod slapdash team we encountered at our new house we moved into (those helping owners move out) was night and day. You truly get what you pay for.
Couldn’t commend the team any higher and would recommend Burke & Wills very highly.
Response from the owner:Dear Fergus,
Thank you so much for your fantastic and detailed review. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We are delighted to hear that Jason, Phil, Serge, Jonny and Billy all played a part in making your move such a success. It is especially rewarding to know that the team's professionalism, flexibility and hard work stood out, particularly while working through another very hot day and accommodating your young family throughout the move.
Your comments about the difference in service compared with others mean a great deal to us. We take great pride in delivering a professional, high quality service from the initial survey through to moving day, so it is wonderful to know this was reflected in your experience.
Thank you again for your recommendation and your kind words. We wish you and your family every happiness in your new home.
