We’re looking to recruit enthusiastic removals van driver to carry out removals in Greater London and some longer distance removals across the rest of the UK.
The role as a van driver does involve manual handling and lifting, including packing, loading and unloading household effects onto removal vans.
On the job training will be given so we require the successful applicants to be eager and capable to learn. Our company has a very positive training program which does lead to a HGV qualification for the right, capable employees.
Our working environment is inside our client’s homes, so good communication skills, pleasant manner and ability to work as a team are required.
A UK drivers licence or EU equivalent is required. We are prepared to change non-UK licences into UK licences for the right applicant.
We have good transport links and a safe place to park your bike or car.
The initial starting salary is £20,000 – £26,000 pa plus overtime.
